It was a cold morning this day, and the only sign of relief was the sun which was just starting to rise. Creeping through the shades, the light flooded Rogues room falling to his face. Slowly waking, he opened his eyes and let out a yawn.
"Rogue! Wake up, its time for work." Echoed his grandmother. He knew his grandfather couldn't handle the shop by himself, but that didn't take away from the slight distaste of working daily. 'I'm a shinobi, I'm practically a hero and I still have to work?!' is what he thought every morning when his grandmother would call for him.
"Alright, I'll be down in a moment." Was called in reply as he rolled over to sit up. letting out a sigh he stood up and began to get ready. Grabbing his sword rogue dashed out the door and down the stairs to the kitchen.
"Well good morning" Smirked his grandmother. The smell of eggs and rice was singing of breakfast. Rogue, winced at thinking about missing it but he was already late enough. Racing past her he was almost out the door before she called to him. "Wow, you haven't eaten breakfast yet!"
"I'll grab something to eat on the way to the shop..." was all he could get out as the door shut behind him.
The city was bustling with people. ranging from people pushing carts, and homeless men begging for money to men in suits and Shinobi in their garb. The sun was above head shining as bright as ever. Even so with the exclusion of the normal sand blowing about the city streets almost gave off a more, peaceful illusion in comparison the normal sand storms which rained havoc. Making his way through the city the small of ramen filled the air. The only dilemma that day was which shop to stop by on his way to work. It wasn't really relevant and a simple meal would suffice, so stopping at the first shop Rogue quickly grabbed a bowl of ramen and made his way to the shop.
"Ding Ding" Rogue said dropping his bag and sword next to the door. Walking further in he could see his grandfather struggling to lift a large box of kunai and shuriken. "Hey pop let me get that for you" he spoke as he laid his ramen on the counter. There was still a good hour before the shop opened, so leaving his stuff around wasn't a problem till then.
"Thanks Rogue, I think I would have broken my back if you hadn't just walked in." His grandfather let a little laugh out as he handed the box to Rogue. Quickly grabbing the box Rogue made his way to the storage room to drop it off.
"Rogue!" his grandfather shouted shakily. "That was the last of the equipment, why don't you go train in the back?" Rogue popped his head out from behind the storage room door, revealing a large grin.
"Are you sure? hehe, I'd much rather be doing that" It wasn't much of a question, for rogue had already crossed the shop, and grabbed both his ramen and sword. The smell of ramen was weakening his knees. Rogue was one of those type that had to have food to function. The thought of uneaten ramen was almost unbearable.
"Of course my son! Having trained shinobi is much more important then doing mere shop work." Rogues grandfather didn't care much for having him work at the shop, he knew being a shinobi was much more important but Rogues grandmother wouldn't have any other.
"Alright if you need any help just call, Alright." Rogue dashed out the back door. The sun blindingly bright forced him to cover his eyes at first. 'Must it always be this bright?' He contemplated as he pulled his sword up in front of him. once he regained his vision several dummies where revealed as well as small ranged weapon field. How good it felt to hold Doragon Kisoku again. Pulling the blade high he sprinted forward in motion to strike. Quickly channeling the blade ignited into a fiery blaze. 'Lets do this...'
